Principles
The doctrine is fixed. The portfolio is not.
These principles govern every vertical, present and future. They are the terms under which capital may be held in the A&Y structure.
01 / Doctrine
01
Preservation precedes performance
The base is the asset. A return that risks the base is not a return; it is a loan taken against the structure's future.
02
Structure over instinct
Rules are written before capital is placed. A decision made under pressure is a decision made without a mandate.
03
Evidence over narrative
Only reconciled data is reported. A number that cannot be traced to a position or a transfer is not a number.
04
Concentration is earned
Size follows demonstrated behaviour over full cycles, never a single favourable period.
05
Patience is a position
Inactivity with intent is a legitimate allocation. Activity is not evidence of stewardship.
06
Continuity is the objective
Every decision is measured against a horizon longer than the person making it.
